Two dead, five injured in a gangwar among Tihar Jail inmates

New Delhi: Two Tihar Jail inmates were killed and five others injured in Gang War in a jail van on Tuesday evening.

The clash took place inside a jail vanwhile the inmates were being taken from Rohini Court to Tihar jail.

“Nine under-trial prisoners were coming back to Tihar Jail after attending their hearing in the Rohini Court. Four-five out of the total started fighting and as a result two prisoners died on their way back in the jailvan. Paras Goldy and Pradip Bhola, who died in the incident, were associated with Neeru Dabodia,” said Vikramjeet Singh, DCP outer district.

The five injured Tihar Jail inmates have been admitted to Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital in the national capital.
