Tribal Students’ Federation (TSF) has expressed its happiness over the decision taken by the Telangana government on providing mess facility in Tribal Colleges’ Hostels. In a press note, TSF said that the earlier governments had shown step motherly love towards tribal college hostels, but the Telangana State government took a beneficial decision for the tribal students.
TSF urged the government to provide scholarships along with mess facility, taking over the organizing of tribal college hostels. TSF asked the government to construct own buildings for the colleges and hostels. It urged the government to set up college hostels to the boys and girls in every constituency. It pleaded with the government to provide free coaching facility to the tribal students for competitive examinations. The government has to increase the mess cosmetic charges on par with the increased prices, it asked the government and requested it to set up libraries, newspapers and computers appointing warden, watchmen and workers for the hostels.
