Hyderabad: TDP MLA, Mr. Revanth Reddy expressed his doubts about the medical degree of TS Health Minister, Dr. Lakshma Reddy and termed him as Munna Bhai MBBS of Telangana.
Dr. Lakshma Reddy announced that if his medical degree is proved fake, he would relinquish politics. TDP MLA, Mr. Revanth Reddy alleged that Dr. Lakshma Reddy’s medical degree is fake. He was addressing the inaugural function of Health Center at Maddoor Mandal in Mahboob Nagar District. Reacting to this, Dr. Lakshma Reddy told that he took the degree of BHMS from Gulbarga. If in investigation, his degree is proved fake, he offered to quit politics. On the other hand, if this charge is proved false, is Mr. Revanth Reddy prepared to relinquish politics, he asked. Mr. Revanth Reddy told that this function is not a political platform. Such discussions should take place at political level.
Criticizing heavily the attitude of Mr. Revanth Reddy, Dr. Lakshma Reddy told that it is the habit of Mr. Revanth Reddy to level baseless charges. By adopting the slavery of Andhra bosses, Mr. Lakshma Reddy always played the role of the traitor of Telangana interests. Both the leaders indulged in heated discussions. Activists of TRS and TDP climbed on to the dais and were about to quarrel. Police intervened these groups and dispersed them.
