TS Govt indifférent on suicides: Brinda Karat

CPM Leader Brinda Karat today expressed displeasure at Telangana Government for violating norms of Forest Act in the State.

Speaking to reporters at Vizianagaram during her tour, Brinda alleged that the Telangana Government and BJP Government at the Centre were indulging in “anti-people” policies. She also alleged that the TRS Government remained indifferent over unabated suicides by farmers in the State. She also expressed surprise over the TRS government’s indifference to farmers’ plight. “The government should plunge into action to prevent recurrence of such incidents. It is the misfortune of the people to have such governments which are least bothered about their welfare”, she lamented. (NSS)
