Telangana government has issued an order directing owners of vehicles in Telangana bearing registration number with ‘AP’ state code to change it with ‘TS’. As per the GO 44 issued by Telangana State Transport Department the state code ‘AP’ should be substituted by ‘TS’ while the last four numerical digits and series will remain the same. Four months would be given to vehicle owners to make the changes. Vehicle owners can avail online registration service for getting new registration numbers.
