TRS will retain Warangal LS seat: Pocharam

Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today exuded confidence that the TRS would retain its Warangal Lok Sabha seat by handsome majority in the November 21 polling in the by-election.

Pocharam admitted some leaders of various political parties from Banswada Assembly segment in Nizamabad district into the TRS at Telangana Bhavan. Speaking on the occasion, Pocharam said the people would definitely vote in favour of the TRS due to its welfare schemes and development programs. He also ridiculed the BJP and Telugu Desam for trying to field a common candidate in the by-election.

The minister asserted that the Opposition would not get people’s support despite their false promises and accusations against the ruling party. The TRS will surely win the bypoll in Warangal, he said. He also claimed that the people in Narayankhed Assembly segment were also in favour of the TRS party as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was steering the State to new heights with a focus on welfare and development. The State was making rapid strides in all sectors under the able leadership of KCR, Srinivas Reddy stated. (NSS)
