TRS ‘snatches’ another Congress leader from Ranga Reddy

Ruling TRS party has given yet another shock to the main Opposition Congress party by admitting former minister and senior leader Gaddam Prasad Kumar from Ranga Reddy district into the party.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly gave green signal to admit Prasad Kumar into the party. A senior minister reportedly wooed Prasad Kumar, who expected a ticket from Ranga Reddy district for second MLC seat and made him not to enter election fray as the TRS needed more votes in the local body second MLC seat.

It is learnt that 30 MPTCs and Counsellors are going to join TRS party along with Prasad Kumar. The TRS will win even second MLC seat if these 30 members joined TRS party. It is also learnt that the TRS leadership has decided to give top priority to Prasad Kumar and also decided to give a market committee chairman post to Prasad Kumar’s close follower. Prasad Kumar convened a meeting on Thursday along with his followers at his residence. (NSS)
