TRS slams Nagam, Aruna

TRS leaders D Vinay Bhaskar and K Prabhakar today slammed the BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy and Congress leader DK Aruna for making envious comments against the government. Taking a jibe at the opposition leaders for coming in the way of development and the previous Congress government for failing in all fronts, ignoring the plight of poor, welfare and development of backward and minority classes in the state, the TRS leaders claimed that they are in favour of the welfare of SC, ST, BC and Minorities.

Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, the TRS leaders expressed serious discontent that the two leaders are not digesting the developmental works and welfare schemes being implemented in the state. Through his “Telangana Bachao Mission” (Protect Telangana Mission) Nagam is resorting to mud-slinging activity to blame the government only for political gain, they alleged. Ridiculing Nagam for chanting Telangana mantra only after he was hit by students at Osmania University during statehood movement, they sought to know whether the BJP extended support to Nagam’s Mission.

The TRS leaders fumed at Nagam for accusing chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of failing to develop the state, misuse of funds by changing his convoy for three times, reducing the rich state to poor condition, making controversy of nativity and reduction of funds for welfare schemes. The Government is implementing many welfare schemes to bring back the deprived and poor classes into the mainstream, they pointed out. They condemned Aruna’s comments of land grabbing in KCR’s home district of Medak. Aruna is making mindless remarks against the chief minister, they fumed. People will teach her a lesson for carrying out misinformation campaign against the welfare schemes, they warned.(NSS)
