TRS questions Nagam’s ‘Telangana Bachao Mission’

TRS MLA D Vinay Bhaskar on Wednesday asked Bharatiya Janata Party to clarify whether the ‘Telangana Bachao Mission’ launched by former minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy was party’s secret mission or Nagam’s personal mission.

Speaking to media persons at TRS Legislature Party office here, Vinay Bhaskar said that the BJP should clarify its stand on Nagam’s mission. He also flayed Nagam for launching the ‘Telangana Bachao Mission’. He alleged that initially Nagam was against the formation of Telangana State and he was forced to change his stand after he was gheraod by students. Ridiculing Nagam’s mission, he said people of Telangana were happy with the performance of TRS Government, especially Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Vinay Bhaskar alleged that Nagam has been trying to project himself as the champion of Telangana although he never raised his voice while serving as minister in TDP Government. (INN)
