Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao on Monday said that the TRS Government was fully geared up to face the opposition parties during the forthcoming monsoon session of Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council, scheduled to commence from September 23.
Speaking to media persons here, Harish Rao said that unlike Andhra Pradesh Assembly’s monsoon session, the Telangana Assembly session would be held for maximum number of days so as to discuss issues concerning common man. He said that the government was ready to debate all the issues.
Harish Rao informed that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would make a statement on the floor of the House on farmers’ suicides. He said that the opposition parties have no moral right to speak about farmers’ suicides. He warned the opposition members against stalling the proceedings of the House and said that the ruling party would give an effective counter to such a behaviour. (INN)
