TRS Govt. not serious about the issues of GHMC employees – Kishan Reddy

Police foiled the attempts of BJP for taking out a rally to Secretariat yesterday. Police arrested nearly 300 BJP activists and Municipal Workers who were trying to organize a rally from Indira Park to Secretariat. They wanted to take out this rally to demand the Govt. to resolve the issues of Municipal workers. BJP Telangana Unit President, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy and MLAs, Dr. K. Lakshman, Mr. V. S. S. Prabhakar, Mr. C. Ramchandra Reddy, Mr. N. Ramachandra Reddy and other leaders staged dharna at Indira Park yesterday. Mr. G. Kishan Reddy alleged that the TRS Govt.  is not serious about resolving the issues of Municipal workers.  He blamed KCR that he is not working as a CM elected democratically. His style of functioning is like a king. He slammed the Govt. that it is neglecting the issues of Municipal workers since most of them belong to Dalits and BCs. He criticized GHMC Commissioner, Mr. Somesh Kumar and said that he is functioning as the agent of TRS. He further told that Mr. Somesh Kumar is spending most of the time in CM’s office instead of attending his regular duties at GHMC.

Later, BJP activists shouted slogans against CM and made an attempt to take out a rally to Secretariat. Police immediately came to action and arrested the protestors. They were shifted to Ghoshamahal Police Stadium.
