Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member Renuka Chowdhary on Sunday accused the TRS Government of pursuing anti-farmers agenda.
Speaking to media persons in Nayakguda of Khammam district here, Renuka said that the TRS Government has completely neglected the agriculture sector during its 15-month rule. She said non-implementation of promise of crop loan waiver was the main reason that drove hundreds of farmers to suicide. She said that the method adopted by the State Government to waive off crop loans was faulty and therefore, the government should clear entire dues at one go.
Renuka Chowdhary said that the Congress leaders have been visiting the affected farmers to instill confidence among them. (INN)
