TRS gaining popularity in old city

Telangana Rashtra Samithi is hopeful that it will succeed in gaining foothold in old city in the ensuing Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. Party sources say that a wave in favour of TRS is witnessed among minorities and informed that the survey done to review party position in old city brought positive results. The survey revealed that schemes like Shaadi Mubarak, poor and old age pensions have played an important role in bringing minorities closer to TRS.

Generally Muslim dominated areas of old city are considered to be the citadel of local political party but TRS with its performance and by appointing Mohammed Mahmood Ali as Deputy Chief Minister has succeeded in winning the hearts of minorities.

Meanwhile President Greater Hyderabad TRS M Hanumanth Rao has claimed that TRS’ position in every ward of old city is strong and he is sure that party’s performance in old city will be impressive. He informed that Muslim minorities are voluntarily expressing support in favour of the party.
