‘Traumatised’ Congress will have to answer for stalling Parliament: BJP

New Delhi, Dec. 9 : Minister of State for Parliamentary Affiars Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Wednesday said the Congress is still in a state of trauma in the wake of its shocking general election defeat in 2014, and that is why it was not allowing parliament to function.

“The Congress vice president has lost his sense of enthusiasm. They cannot come out of the trauma of the defeat, and that is why, they are stalling the progress and the development of the nation,” Naqvi told ANI.

Naqvi further said that the people of the nation would give a befitting reply to the Congress for rejecting the mandate given by them.

“If you have any issue you can debate and discuss that in the House. We are always open to discussion. When a party starts any work without doing proper homework, and does not see any exit route, then this becomes the result,” he added.

Meanwhile, both the Houses of the Parliament witnessed repeated adjournments as Congress members continued to protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Government over the National Herald issue. (ANI)
