Telangana Congress leaders today complained to President Pranab Mukherjee against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on defections.
Along with Vivek, Ponnam Prabhakar, Rajgopal Reddy and Balram Naik, Gutha Sukhender Reddy met Pranab at Rashtrapathi Nilayam in Bollarum here and sought his intervention to prevent defections in the State.
Later, they told media that they urged the President to take action to prevent anti-democratic policies of Chief Minister. “KCR is encouraging defections in camp office and secretariat. This is undemocratic and uncalled for”, they said and found fault with the TRS leadership for luring their party leaders for winning the GHMC and MLC elections. (NSS)
