A 20-year-old girl committed suicide allegedly due to ill-health.
According to Sanathnagar police, the deceased, D. Monika, a student, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Hari Nagar on Tuesday night.
In another case, P. Srinivas, 35, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Kushaiguda Housing Board Colony on Tuesday night in inebriated condition. The reasons that drove him to the extreme step are yet to be ascertained, according to Kushaiguda police.
In a different case, M. Mahesh, 32, who had attempted suicide on August 6 by consuming some unknown tablets, died at a private hospital on Tuesday night. He was a native of Nizamabad. According to Begumpet police, Mahesh came to Begumpet after having a fight with his relatives and resorted to the extreme step. (INN)
