A 21-year-old man committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling in Chandanagar police limits.
The deceased, Shankar, resorted to the extreme step at his residence in Gopi Nagar on Wednesday morning. According to police, Shankar was in depression since his wife committed suicide about four months ago and the same is suspected to have driven him to suicide.
In another case, J Raju, 28, died of burn injuries which he sustained after setting himself ablaze on July 26. He took the extreme step at his residence in Jiyaguda and died at the Osmania General Hospital on Tuesday night. Family disputes are suspected to be the reason behind suicide.
In a different case, 40-year-old Srinivas Goud committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems. He took the extreme step at his residence in Katedhan on July 25 and died at the OGH on Tuesday night, according to Mailardevpally police. (INN)
