Three minor bomb blasts rock WB

It was as if different parts of West Bengal were sitting on a time bomb on Friday. One after another, three blasts rocked the state, sending chills down the spine of the state administration.

It was at around noon, when a crude bomb exploded in an abandoned house at Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.

A little after noon and another crude bomb went off in the heart of the city, Cossipore. One person died and three were injured in the minor crude bomb blast. Two others injured are undergoing treatment at the RG Kar Medical College. Bomb Disposal Squad and sniffer dogs are at the spot looking for hidden bombs in the area.
