A 48-year-old man was killed while his friend got injured when the motorcycle they were travelling on skidded in Dundigal police limits.
The deceased, Ch Venkata Raghunatha Babu, met with the accident near Dundigal crossroads on Tuesday night. His friend, Tirupathi, also sustained injuries. Both were immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where doctors declared Babu ‘brought dead’. He was a resident of Vivekananda Nagar of Chintal.
In another case, Vishwanath, 32, succumbed to the injuries which he suffered on July 25 when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by another bike near Medipally crossroads. He was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where he died last night. He was a security guard and resident of Narapally, according to Medipally police.
In a different case, 24-year-old Prakash of Gundla Pochampally died of a grievous head injury which he sustained after the bike he was riding was hit by another motorcycle near Adityanagar crossroads on Tuesday night. He was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, according to Pet Basheerabad police. (INN)
