Those opposing KCR will be sent to jail: Talasani

Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday warned the leaders of opposition parties they would be thrown behind the bars if they continue to oppose Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and stall the development works.

Addressing a press conference at the State Secretariat here, Talasani strongly condemned the criticism against KCR by some opposition leaders and said that the government would no more tolerate such criticism. All those, who are trying to tarnish the image of TRS Government, will be sent to jail, he warned.

Talasani accused the Congress and Telugu Desam Party of stalling the process of development in Telangana State through their criticism. He said the opposition parties have been trying to extract political benefit, the TRS Government was completely focussed on development. He alleged that both the parties, during their regimes, have looted the State. He threatened that the TRS would expose their misdeeds before the people during the forthcoming Assembly session.

The minister found fault with the opposition for opposing government’s decisions to change design of Pranahita-Chevella project, shift Osmania General Hospital or relocate the State Secretariat.

Talasani claimed that the TRS Government was working for the overall development of the Telangana State. He listed out various welfare schemes being implemented by the State Government. When asked, he said was ready to face Sanath Nagar by-elections and expressed confidence of winning the same. (INN)
