Tension in Musahra village of UP: Police seized cattle from Muslims to stop them from celebrating Bakrid

Uttar Pradesh: Tension prevailed in Musahra village in UP after police reportedly seized cattle from Muslims to stop them from celebrating Eid-ul-Adha. Police officials said that the village has no tradition of celebrating Bakrid and it was to prevent any new tradition which may result in communal tension.

Police said that it was a preventive measure and there is no communal tension in the area. Police also claimed that Muslims never celebrated Bakrid, they never sacrificed any animals in Eid-ul-Adha in the area.
