Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Sunday claimed that Telangana State became a reality due to the sacrifices made by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
He was speaking after inaugurating a blood donation camp at TRS Headquarters Telangana Bhavan on Sunday to commemorate the indefinite hunger strike undertaken by KCR during statehood movement. Mahmood Ali said it was KCR’s sustained struggle and sacrifices that turned 60-year old dream of Telangana into a reality. He said KCR has launched several welfare schemes for the people after coming to power.
He said that the blood donation camp would continue till December 9.
TRS MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and other TRS leaders also spoke on the occasion. (INN)
