A high alert has been sounded across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in view of 23rd anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya on Sunday.
Security has been beefed in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in view of Bandh and ‘Black Day’ call given by Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Masjlis Bachau Tahreek and other organizations. Additional forces have been deployed at all sensitive locations across the twin cities.
Some Muslim organizations are planning to hold a protest meeting at Indira Park. The MBT leaders will be submitting a memorandum to Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan at 10.45 AM on Sunday. (INN)
