Exhorting the Telangana youth to join the Aam-Admi Party (AAP) to build a corruption-free State, the AAP-Telangana wing has demanded that the State government give a specific date and assurance for clearance of crop loan waiver.
In a pressnote here on Friday, AAP Telangana State Spokesperson Prof. P L Vishweshwar Rao demanded that the State government declare all Telangana districts as drought affected and forwards a report to the Centre immediately seeking assistance. He also demanded that the KCR government fix Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all the farm products and provide quality fertilizers and pesticides to the farmers. He also asked the government to impose a three-year moratorium against private money lenders, who were pestering the farmers and order re-investigation into all cases of farmers’ suicides. PLV stated that the AAP is organizing a youth wing conference on October 4 at Basheerbagh where balladeer Gadar will inaugurate the conference. (NSS)
