TDP seeks probe into bike rally on Yadadri by TRS men

Telangana TDP today demanded that the Director General of Police order an inquiry into taking out a bike rally on the Yadadri hill shrine by TRS workers in violation of norms.

TDP official spokesperson Nannuri Narsireddy said the rally was taken against the norms as temple administration had banned political activities, including display of any kind of banners on the hill shrine to protect sanctity of the temple. He said the TRS government has proclaimed that Yadadri would be developed on par with Tirumala. But a bike rally was taken out atop the hill shrine in which Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao and TRS chief whip Sunita attended and participants raised slogans in favour of the government and Harish Rao.

Nannuri demanded that the DGP order a probe into the rally incident and take action against those organized the bike rally in violation of the temple norms. (NSS)
