Addressing a press conference at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Vivekanand Goud said that joining TRS party was being imposed as a condition for release of funds for developmental works in any constituency across Telangana State. Referring to joining of some political activists of Qutubullahpur into TRS recently, he said many leaders were implicated into false cases and they were forced to join the TRS to get those cases closed. He said Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao was openly threatening the political opponents of dire consequences if they refused to join the ruling party.
The TDP MLA alleged that the TRS leaders were playing with lives and careers of people only to strengthen themselves in the State. (INN)
