The Telugu Desam Party has decided to organise a day-long dharna in Warangal on August 5 demanding double bedroom flat to deserving beneficiaries.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Telangana TDP President L. Ramana alleged that the TRS Government has failed to fulfill even a single promise that it made with the people during elections. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has secured votes on the promise of providing 2BHK flats to the poor people. However, even after 14 months, the State Government did not provide 2BHK flat to a single beneficiary.
Ramana said that the State Government also failed to clear the bills pertaining to Indiramma Housing Scheme. He said that the TDP would highlight the failures of TRS Government during the proposed dharna. (INN)
