TDP demands all-party meet on pending projects

Criticizing the TRS government for its “negligent” attitude on pending irrigation projects, TDP leaders today said the State government was trying to politicize the issue of pending projects.

TDP Telangana committee chairman L Ramana and party’s floor leader in the Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao said during the TDP regime Rs 1000 crore has been allocated for four irrigation projects. Though these projects are to complete in one year, but the TRS government did not give importance to complete them and not a single project was taken up by the TRS government in the State, they alleged.

Alleging that the government was going on harping on new projects just for commissions from contractors, the TDP leaders demanded an all-party meeting to discuss the pending projects. (NSS)
