National Telugu Desam party official spokesperson Mallela Linga Reddy here on Saturday took serious exception to the “mud-slinging” by the YSR Congress Party against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and dared whether the latter was ready for an open debate on all issues, including sand mafia and red sanders smuggling encouraged during the YSR regime.
Speaking to mediapersons at NTR Trust Bhavan, Linga Reddy alleged that the YSRCP which freely encouraged the sand mafia and red sanders smuggling, was now slinging mud at the ruling party like a rowdy wife beating husband and shouting for help. He said while the Chief Minister held a review meeting on sand mafia and red sanders smuggling and wrote an open letter to the YSRCP president listing facts, the latter did not care to reply and instead was resorting to mudslinging at the ruling party with meaningless allegations.
