New Delhi :Tata Motors today launched a more powerful variant of its sports utility vehicle Safari Storme, powered by a new engine, at a starting price of Rs 13.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The vehicle, which comes with a new 2.2 litre Varicor 400 engine, is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 drive options, priced at Rs 13.25 lakh and Rs 14.59 lakh, respectively.
The new variant comes with enhanced power and a new six-speed manual gearbox with a self-adjusting clutch for better performance.
“We at Tata Motors are delighted with the launch of a new more powerful variant of the Safari Storme the Safari Storme VX,” Tata Motors President-Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Mayank Pareek said in a statement.
With superior on-road and off-road capabilities, the new variant of the Safari Storme will further exemplify the excitement and performance quotient of the SUV, he added.
