New Delhi: One army jawan was today killed in the terrorist attack at army post in Tangdhar near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
At around 7:40 am, three to four terrorists positioned themselves at a mountainous ridge near the camp located near the LoC. The terrorists also threw grenades.
Heavy exchange of fire is underway as the army has launched a counter-terror operation against the militants.
According to reports, an oil depot in the army camp has caught fire amid the gun battle. (ANI)
