Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has blamed the wrong policies of previous governments for the recent suicides by farmers.
Speaking to media persons in Yadigirigutta of Nalgonda district on Thursday, Talasani said that people of Telangana were facing the consequences of mistakes committed by Seemandhra rulers during the united Andhra Pradesh. He expressed serious concern over the increase in number of farmers’ suicide across Telangana State. He said all District Collectors have been directed to send details of all the suicides in their districts.
Talasani said that the TRS Government has been fulfilling the promises that it made with the farmers in the election manifesto. He said that the process of waiving off crop loans up to Rs. 1 lakh was on. (INN)
