Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday informed that senior leaders from the State would join the victory celebration by All India Congress Committee over the withdrawal of Land Acquisition Bill by the BJP-led NDA Government on September 20.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to let the Land Acquisition Bill lapse was an achievement of Congress party, especially AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.
Uttam Kumar Reddy also informed that the Congress party would organise demonstrations at mandal-levels across Telangana State in protest against the withdrawal of postal stamps in the name of former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. (INN)
