‘Swachh Hyderabad’ is publicity stunt: Aruna

Former minister and Congress leader D K Aruna has alleged that the TRS government’s prestigious ‘Swachh Hyderabad’ program was a publicity stunt only as Hyderabad stood at 275th place in the Centre’s survey on clean cities.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Aruna said the Osmania General Hospital was not in a dilapidated condition and the same was proved in the examination of the Central government’s INTACH. She demanded that the TRS government allot funds for effecting repairs to the Osmania Hospital. She also asked the government to take up repair works immediately by not disturbing the historical Osmania Hospital.

Aruna also refuted the allegations made by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj against AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi and his family. Making it clear that Sushma Swaraj’s allegations were full of falsehood, she alleged that the BJP bigwigs were trying to cover up their corrupt practices. (NSS)
