Stop ‘politics of revenge’: AAP tells PM Modi

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): Launching a frontal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday said the AAP Government will make sure that the Gujarat model of anti-corruption and Gujarat model of CBI that is being enforced on Delhi should not succeed.
Sisodia said the AAP, which has come to power after winning the elections, will work with utmost dedication to remove corruption and ensure women safety.

“The AAP government will make sure that the Gujarat model of anti-corruption and Gujarat model of CBI that is being enforced on Delhi should not succeed,” he said.

Sisodia alleged that Prime Minister was attempting to take revenge of the BJP’s humiliating defeat in the 2014 Delhi Assembly polls.

He claimed that the Centre was not allowing the AAP Government to work freely towards eradicating corruption from Delhi.

Sisodia said the Delhi Police, which is under the jurisdiction of the Central Government as per the Constitution, should be deployed to arrest corrupt people and ensure women safety in the national capital.

“We accept that you have right on the Delhi Police. From the constitutional point, you (Modi) have control over Delhi Police, but not on the ACB. You should run the Delhi Police but it should be deployed to ensure women safety. It should be deployed to arrest corrupt people and guilty and not in controlling the ACB,” Sisodia told the media here.

“Modi ji’s party has been defeated by the people of Delhi and he is taking revenge of that. Many hurdles are being put in the way of the people of Delhi who are trying to get rid of corruption and ensuring safety for women,” he added. (ANI)
