State set for Anam Bros’ entry into TDP

In the wake of rumours that Anam brothers might change their loyalties, the stage is set for them to join the ruling Telugu Desam party.

Anam brothers today gathered inputs from their supports in Kavali, Sarvepalli and Atmakur Assembly constituencies and held a meeting in Nellore with their supporters.

Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, who was finance minister in the previous Kirankumar Reddy cabinet in the united Andhra Pradesh State, has said they would soon walk into TDP. However, a final date is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, the State Congress leaders have criticized the decision of Anam brothers. Congress leader Shailajanath said it was shameful that some power-hungry leaders were contemplating to leave the party. (NSS)
