Moment for Education and Economic Telangana and Minority Rights Protection Committee jointly organised a debate entitled ‘Employment opportunities in Telangana and Muslim reservations’ at Hotel Crystal, Banjara Hills. The debate aimed at ensuring implementation of 4 pc reservations in government vacant posts and expediting the process of 12 percent reservations to Muslims.
Addressing on the occasion Chairman Muslim Rights Protection Committee Prof. Ansari said that the new strategy of state government has become dubious for Muslims. While the clear policy has been adopted to guarantee employment to women, no clear promises have been made to provide employment to unemployed Muslims. He stressed the need for social awareness along with legal and democratic battle. He told that if Telangana Government implements 4 pc reservations then its promise of 12 percent reservation could be believed.
