Central government has sanctioned the project of 37.7 crore for Daeratul Ma’arif. The institution is waiting for the permission to form committees and purchase of missionary. Union ministry for minority affairs had sanctioned the project under Hamari Dharohar Scheme under which translation, digitalisation and re-printing of old valuable books and manuscripts will be done.
This is the first time in the history of the institution that government had sanctioned such a big project. The institution waits for the approval of committee by the state government. It seems that the officials have no interest in beginning the project.
