A young unmarried woman was murdered at Balshetty Khet, Noor Khan Bazar. According to sources, 35-year-old, Zeenat who worked as a salesgirl at Roop Sangam showroom, Abids, had been residing at a rented flat on 3rd floor of a building in Balshetty Khet for the past 3 years. Zeenat a spinster was murdered by unknown men on Tuesday noon. Dabeerpura police came to know about the incident when Zeenat’s ex-colleague Syed Mohsin came to her house to hand over the rent and found her dead. According to police sources Syed Mohsin informed inspector Dabeerpura about the incident. Police suspect that Zeenat was suffocated by pressing a pillow hard against her face, as her nose was bleeding. In his statement Mohsin told the police that Zeenat had called her and asked to bring rent amount of Rs. 3000. Police has arrested Mohsin and started interrogation.
