Sonia asks OU students to launch movement against TRS Govt

AICC President Sonia Gandhi on Saturday asked students of Osmania University to launch another movement against the “undemocratic and dictatorial rule” of TRS Government in Telangana State.

Praising their role in the formation of Telangana State, Sonia Gandhi said that the students JAC of Osmania University should lead the movement against the TRS Government for its “anti-people” and “anti-students” policies. She announced that the Congress party would extend full support to the OUJAC and other students’ organisations in their agitation.

Sonia Gandhi made this statement while addressing 50 members of OUJAC who called on her in New Delhi on Saturday. The JAC leaders were taken to Sonia Gandhi by TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, MLA A Sampath Kumar, TPCC Chief Spokesperson D Sravan Kumar and other leaders. She also asked the TPCC leaders to launch a full-fledged movement against the TRS rule in the State. (INN)
