New Delhi: Mr. Shaaban Bukhari, Dy. Imam of Jamia Masjid, Delhi who is the son of Shahi Imam, Syed Ahmed Bukhari married a Hindu girl. The senior Bukhari was initially against this marriage but when the girl embraced Islam he agreed to it. The couple knew each other for the past two years.
A simple wedding ceremony was held in Jamia Masjid of New Delhi which was attended by close relatives of Bukhari family. The girl belongs to Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. It is an case of love marriage. It is reported that the newly-wed bride is learning Quran. Mr. Shaaban Bukhari is doing bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Amity University.
