A delegation of Sir Syed Minority Welfare Society led by Mohammed Abdul Qayyum Ansari Vice President called on Bandlaguda Tahsildar Mohammed Zahooruddin and presented a memorandum demanding 12% Muslim reservations through BC Commission. Mohammed Abdul Qayyum Ansari Vice President Sir Syed Minority Welfare Society told that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had promised to provide 12% reservations to Muslims before elections and later after becoming Chief Minister also he announced several times and formed Sudhir Commission. Sudhir Commission report will have no effect on reservations. Muslim reservations will be possible only through BC Commission.
