Simple marriage held, Siasat’s movement bearing fruits

The movement initiated by Siasat to make Muslim girls’ marriages simple and avoid extravagance is bearing fruits. Its impact was seen here at Jama Masjid Darushifa, at the wedding ceremony of daughter of noted poet Dr. Nadir al Masdoodi, president Bazm-e-Ilm-o-Adab. Avoiding unwarranted traditions and expenditures he performed Nikah of his daughter Fatima Mohammed Ba Masdoos with Taha Jaffer son of Anwer Shaikh.

The Nikah and Vidayi were held in the masjid itself. Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan congratulated Mr. Nader Al Masdoodi for conducting such a simple and exemplary marriage. He also congratulated groom and his father Mr. Anwer Shaikh resident of Gulbarga and requested him to promote the campaign in districts too. City dignitaries including Maulana Husamuddin Saani Ameer Millat-e-Islamia, Raheemuddin Ansar, Aslam Farshouri, Asar Ghouri, Ziauddin Husami, Mateenuddin Quadri, Islamuddin Mujahed and others attended the function.
