Siasat’s Muslim Empowerment Movement intensifies

reservations to Muslims

Siasat’s demand for 12 percent Muslim reservations was also echoed in masajid on Friday. Young and old alike belonging to various religious, political and voluntary organisations have started joining the movement. Even Muslim and secular minded leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samithi are raising voice in favour of 12 pc reservations. Meanwhile Muslims’ non-political representative organisation Jamiat Ulama e Hind Telangana has also announced its support to Siasat’s movement.

On Friday the issue of 12 percent reservations was raised in most of the masajid of Telangana state. Memorandums were submitted in Nirmal, Kortla, Madhol and Nizamabad. Muslims worried over delay in implementation of 12 percent reservation as promised by Telangana government are joining hands with the movement.

If 12 percent reservations is implemented over 12000 government posts will go to Muslims. However if reservations are provided after job notification than Muslims will lose nearly 8000 jobs. After recruitment on 1 lakh posts such an opportunity would not come for another 10 years.
