Siasat’s 12% reservation campaign receives positive response: M A Shabbir

Leader of apposition in Telangana Legislative Assembly Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir accused State IT & Panchayat Raj minister Mr. KT Rama Rao of shedding crocodile tears on gulf victims in view of Warangal bye polls. He claimed that 12% Muslim reservation campaign launched by Siasat Daily had received positive and overwhelming response in all the districts of Telangana.

Addressing a press conference at CLP office, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir told that TRS made no practical measures to address the problems of labours in gulf countries although it had promised to form separate ministry for NRIs and allocate substantial budget for the same in its election manifesto. He informed ‘10 lakhs youth of Telangana are working in gulf countries and 12000 youth are in jails. Since after TRS came to power, 400 youth died in various accidents in gulf countries and government did nothing for them. While during Congress rule separate cell was formed for NRIs to which he himself was the incharge minister.
