Mumbai: Ms. Snehal Ambekar, Shiv Sena Corporator and Mayor of Mumbai created controversy by comparing Narendera Modi to Hitler alleging him that he is concentrating all powers with him.
She had all praise for Uddhav Thackeray, chief of Shiv Sena as he is a person who knows ground realities. She also admired Narendra Modi for his self-reliant style of functioning but she felt that his way of governance is quite similar to Hitler.
Shiv Sena is a ruling party in BMC along with BJP. It is also an allied party in the Maharashtra and Central Governments.
Mr. Sanjay Nirupam, Congress President of the city of Mumbai told that Congress has been saying that Mr. Modi’s style of functioning resembled the dictatorial attitude of Hitler. Mr. Modi consolidates power with him. He did the same thing when he was CM of Gujarat. He is continuing the same style as PM. He does not pay heed to the comments made by his colleagues and allied party members.
Mr. Raj Purohit, BJP MLA of Colaba constituency of Mumbai in a video program shot secretly confessed that Mr. Amit Shah, President of BJP and Mr. Narendra Modi have all the powers and influence in the party and there is no internal democratic system in the party.
Mr. Manoj Kotak, leader of BJP in BMC told that he had sought clarification from Ms. Snehal Ambekar, Mayor of Mumbai. She contradicted the statement against Modi. She clarified that she did not used the word ‘Hitler’. BJP has asked Shiv Sena to clarify this issue.
Trushna Vishwasrao, Shiv Sena party leader in BMC told that she had a talk with the mayor who denied using the word ‘Hitler’ in her interview.
