Shabbir critical of KCR’s style of functioning

Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir has accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of turning Telangana into a ‘crisis ctate’.

Addressing the media at Congress Legislature Party office on Thursday, Shabbir Ali said the “wrong policies” of TRS Government pushed Telangana into crises. “Inexperience of KCR has turned the State with Rs 7,500 crore surplus revenue into a Rs 70,000 crore debt-ridden State. He demanded that the TRS government issue a White Paper on the State’s financial status. He said the the education sector was in shambles due to non-payment of fee reimbursement dues, lack of Vice-Chancellors in all the 11 State universities. Similarly, several people died due to Swine Flu, Dengue and other diseases due to the negligence of the government.

The Congress leader slammed the Chief Minister for taking “immature” decisions and reversing the same after a while. He advised the Chief Minister to be cautious in taking decisions. (NSS)
