Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Sunday alleged that one Shankar Yadav, brother of Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, was trying to grab the land belonging to Bowenpally Praga Housing Society members.
Speaking to media persons after visiting the Society at Bowenpally, Shabbir Ali said that the TRS leaders were misusing power and trying to encroach upon both private and government lands. He warned that the Congress party would launch a massive agitation if the TRS leaders continue their land grabbing activities. He also condemned the alleged attack by Shankar Yadav on the members of Bowenpally Praga Housing Society. Describing the attack as shocking, he assured the members of complete support. (INN)
