Service Management Administrator & Developer

Job Description

This support, system admin and development position will be based within a project team tasked with the implementation, configuration and administration of Arups Service Management platform; ServiceNow.

Relationships:
Reporting to the Global Applications Support team leader, the candidate will also work closely with ITSM process owners.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the analysis of business process maps and requirements, admin, maintenance and support of existing processes and functionality, and development of new processes according to ITSM best practice and using ServiceNow. This will also include integration with outside integrations and data sources, unit testing, development of Metrics and Reporting, and delivery of technical documentation such as: Policies, Training Materials and User Guides.

Scope:
The focus of the role will start with (but not be confined to) the development of the following ServiceNow modules:
Incident, Problem and Change Management
Configuration (CMDB) Management
Knowledge Management
Request Fulfilment
Service Catalogue
Bug Fixing (ad-hoc)
Knowledge of integration with third party solutions such as AD, SCCM, SNOW and/or ITIL Business Analyst experience will be beneficial.

The candidate must therefore have a strong working knowledge of ServiceNow and experience of configuration and development within.
Previous knowledge of ITIL Framework, web technologies, working with databases and infrastructure systems like Active Directory, Single Sign On etc. is desirable.

To be considered for this role you will hold the following qualifications (or have provable, successful and extensive experience):
Certified System Administrator
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
ITIL Foundation Certificate
And experience in all or most of those listed below:
Scripting (glide and javascript)
CMDB configuration
Workflow / Approval / Process configuration
Content Management configuration
Web Services configuration
