Serena eyes to create history at US Open

Johannesburg, Aug. 27 : World number one Serena Williams has said that she would prefer to have the pressure of chasing history at the US Open, than of having the pressure of not winning the title.

The 21-time Grand Slam champion revealed that she doesn’t care about winning or losing, and added that her sole aim is to focus on matches one at a time and then move on to the next one, Sport24 reported.

Serena, 33, felt confident about her win, saying that if she will play right then hopefully no one else will going to win.

Earlier, Serena secured 69th singles title of her career by defeating opponent Simona Halep in the Cincinnati Masters final.

Serena , who secured her first Grand Slam title at US Open in 1999, will try to complete the first calendar-year Grand Slam by winning her 22nd career major title in the tournament that starts from Monday. (ANI)
